Keep a household budget online – simple and clear
A household budget shows how much money comes in, where it goes and what is really left at the end of the month. Kept online, it is available everywhere – on your computer, tablet and phone – and does the maths for you.
Why keep a budget at all?
Once you know your income and expenses, you can save with a plan, build reserves and compare fixed costs. Even a rough overview often uncovers forgotten subscriptions or expensive contracts.
Getting started in four steps
- Record your income: salary, side job, child benefit and anything else that arrives regularly.
- Enter fixed costs: rent, electricity, insurance, subscriptions – including yearly payments.
- Create categories: for example housing, transport, leisure and savings.
- Check your savings rate: the share of your income you put aside each month.
Monthly, quarterly or yearly payments
Not every payment is monthly. Insurance is often paid once a year, other bills every quarter. In budgentis you enter the amount together with its interval; monthly and yearly totals are calculated automatically, so you can see what is really left.
